Over an hour ago the National Election Broadcasts declared Barack Obama as the next president of the United States. I have to admit that this has me down. However, history has definitely been made. I hope that he can become the great leader that our country needs.

Sorry you are down, Christy, but you should be cheered by the liberals' responses to President-Elect Obama's various cabinet appointees. By all accounts, he is swinging moderate and centrist. You may just get your wish. I certainly hope you do!
