I was asked what positions will we be voting on this November? So I thought I'd give you a bit of information about our state offices.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
State & US offices you will vote on are:
* U.S. Senator - 6 year term - No Term Limit - 2010, 2016
Bob Bennett (Republican) – first elected 1992 - re-elected: 1998, 2004.
* U.S. House of Representatives - 2 year term - No Term Limit – 2010, 2012, 2014
Rob Bishop (Republican) – First elected 2002
* U.S. House of Representatives - 2 year term - No Term Limit – 2010, 2012, 2014
Jim Matheson (Democrate) – First elected 2008
* U.S. House of Representatives - 2 year term - No Term Limit – 2010, 2012, 2014
Jason Chaffetz (Republican) – First elected 2008
* Governor - 4 year term – No Term Limit – 2012, 2016, 2020
Gary Herbert (Republican) – succeded to Governorship 11 August 2009
*** Special 2010 election for Governor to fill out remainder of term
* Lieutenant Governor - 4 year term – Elected on ticket with Governor – 2012, 2016, 2020
Gregory Bell (Republican) – entered office 11 August 2009
